UWRI’s Annual Celebration 2017

Honoring those who help others.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, October 5 for United Way of Rhode Island’s Annual Celebration — a special evening honoring the 10-year anniversary of United Way’s 2-1-1. During the past 10 years, 2-1-1 specialists have connected Rhode Islanders with the help they need; answering an amazing 1,640,950 calls.

Throughout the evening, we will recognize local leaders who have made a difference in the lives of Rhode Islanders, including:

·      Citizens Bank
·      Matthew Taibi, Teamsters Local 251
·      Patricia Martinez, Central Falls School District
·      Bennett Thompson, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island
·      Paula McFarland, Rhode Island Community Action Association

These awardees have helped make Rhode Island a better place. Please, join us at the Pawtucket Armory Arts Center on Thursday, October 5, from 5:30-7:30pm, to celebrate them and the 10-year anniversary of United Way’s 2-1-1.

Tickets for this free event go quickly — please register now to ensure your seat.
