United Way of Rhode Island announces the next Executive Director Learning Circle cohort is scheduled to begin January 18, 2019. The series, created for executive directors of nonprofits with annual budgets under $1 million, is accepting applications through December 14, 2018.

You will gain practical experience, and join discussions covering:
- Strategy Development and Implementation.
- Board Development and Engagement.
- Staffing and Alignment of Priorities.
- Comprehensive Fund Development.
- Risk Management/Emergency Preparedness.
Upon successfully completing the series, participants have the opportunity to choose between receiving a Certificate of Completion or 6 credits toward a BA/MA in Community Development from Roger Williams University’s School of Continuing Studies.
The series’ lead facilitator, Michael Fournier, is a forty-year YMCA professional who’s served in senior leadership roles in New Hampshire and Providence. Currently, he consults cities and nonprofits concerning capacity building and executive coaching.
