RI Division of Elderly Affairs: Home and Community Care Programs

Join the 2-1-1 team at United Way of Rhode Island on Thursday, May 23, for the eighth session of Community Connections: A Social Services Informational Series. Community Connections highlights social services programs, policy updates, and upcoming events, and provides a space for community partners to connect with one another.

This session features the Rhode Island Division of Elderly Affairs (RI DEA) and focuses on Home and Community Care Programs — services that “provide eligible seniors with innovative options to help them remain in the community.” Options include home health aide services, adult day services, a personal emergency response system, Meals on Wheels, a Senior Companion, minor home modifications, and minor assistive devices.

Community Connections highlights social services programs, policy updates, and upcoming events, and provides a space for community partners to connect with one another.

This session features the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA). RIPTA’s mission is “to provide safe, reliable, and cost effective transit service with a skilled team of professionals responsive to our customers, the environment, and committed to transit excellence.”
