We all deserve to be seen.
Join us on Friday, March 22, for the seventh workshop in the Rhode Island Afterschool Network’s professional development calendar: “Becoming Visible: Serving Unaccompanied Homeless Youth & Young Adults.”
This workshop offers information and practical skills that will deepen your understanding of homeless, runaway, and street youth and young adults ages 13–24. Particular focus is placed on populations that are disproportionately represented among young people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, including LGBTQIA+ youth, youth of color, and young people with a background in the foster care system. Trainers present concrete strategies to ensure safe, affirming service settings and share local opportunities to get involved.
Space is limited. Register now to guarantee your spot.
