Women United’s Power of Storytelling

What’s your story?

We all have a story; it’s made up of who we are, what we’ve done, and those we love. Join Women United on Thursday, October 12, to celebrate our story — a story in which you are an important part. Women United’s Power of Storytelling is an opportunity to learn more about each other, while continuing to write the story of what unites us.

Our guest speaker for the evening is historian, educator, and author Dawn Porter. Dawn, a life-long resident of the Ocean State, wrote Searching for Rhode Island, a book that reflects on the state’s history in a way that is both fun and educational.

Those interested in attending must register no later than Monday, October 9. Women United members are encouraged to invite a guest.

Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing.
