On Saturday, November 18, families from around the Ocean State came together to celebrate National Family Volunteer Day with United Way of Rhode Island. During this successful event, volunteers created literacy kits to help encourage local children to read at home. This year, children who volunteered received a free pass to Roger Williams Park Zoo for all of their hard work. We thank our volunteers and look forward to next year.
