Answering the call together.

United Way of Rhode Island and CVS Health Foundation are working together to help those impacted by the opioid crisis. Our goal is to connect Rhode Islanders with treatment resources, increase addiction awareness, and find options that work.

Thanks to a grant from CVS Health Foundation:

  •  2-1-1 staff received specialized training in answering addiction-related calls.
  • We’ve added three-way calling with Anchor Recovery, a comprehensive substance abuse treatment organization, to assist in urgent situations.
  • The 2-1-1 Outreach RV travels to locations throughout the state, including monthly visits to CVS stores, raising awareness and bringing addiction recovery services directly into communities.

United Way and CVS Health Foundation are making it possible for  2-1-1 to help Rhode Islanders on the road to recovery.

Recovery begins with a call.

  • 2-1-1 is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day.

  • 2-1-1 staff can assist with multiple resources and treatment options.

  • 2-1-1 works with an addiction subject matter expert to ensure callers receive the tools they need.

  • Call and speak with a specialist today, try our chat feature, or scroll down further for a directory of substance abuse treatment options.
