Become a Member

ALC Membership is structured to be accessible to everyone!  Memberships exist at multiple levels based on organization size, including an individual membership for those who would prefer to join on their own.  Most members are professionals in the out-of-school-time field, but membership is open to anyone who cares about making sure Rhode Island children have access to quality afterschool and summer programs.

ALC Membership Fund

All membership fees will be combined into an ALC Membership fund, available via application to ALC members.  An RFP will be released in January 2018, and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis from individual and membership organizations. ALC Executive Committee members will review applications and grant funds as they are available, based on criteria defined by UWRI staff, ALC Executive Committee Members, and ALC members, and released along with the application.  ALC Anticipates entertaining funding requests below $1000, and may include support for non-ALC professional development, on-site trainings, and other unique situations that will increase ALC members’ access to opportunities that may be otherwise unavailable.
