Women United in partnership with the Afterschool Leadership Circle of United Way of Rhode Island will be hosting a program model focused on engaging activities that build literacy and STEM for children in grades K-2. The Spur Talent Through Early Mentoring Program will introduce the Immersion curriculum – easy, fun activities focused on local marine life that encourages students to understand the impact of changes in the environment. A Women United member will assist an afterschool educator to deliver this fun curriculum.

We hope you are interested in participating in this volunteer activity, and to learn more, please contact Natalia Lima at natalia.lima@uwri.org for more information.
